So far it has been great at the AWFS Fair in Las Vegas. It’s a huge wood working show that showcases new and old technology. Joost

3/04/2007

Joost™

Joost is now at version 0.9! It’s getting ready public release.

We have also added a bunch of new content, so there’s now more channels to choose from – including some from the biggest brands in entertainment.

To celebrate this we have given all beta testers fresh invitations to hand out! So if your friend is a beta tester, this would be a good time to ask for an invite ;o)

So now I have some invites, but I have to find out where they are so I can give some out.

Pimpin’ ‘Aint Easy

2/04/2007

DSC00226

So I finally got my watch in from TokyoFlash. They are known for having some really crazy watches, and yes they do tell time. The one I got is from a company called PIMP. According to TokyoFlash they are one of the most popular watch companies in Japan, not that it really matters to me, but this watch is super cool. The face  has 72 super bright white LED’s that light-up according to the time and date. The first row is for the hour and the next five across are for the minutes. They also work to tell the date; the hour lights are the month, and minute lights are the day. In the pic the time is 2:30.

The name of the watch is “pimpin aint easy IP Black”, its named that way because between 6pm to 1am it lights-up in a spiral every two minutes. Very Nice :P

Life with Jawbone

28/02/2007

Jawbone
It’s been a while since I have bought my Jawbone. When I first bought it I was skeptical. It was an expensive bluetooth head-set that was a bit over sized, looked good, and had big promises. Let me tell you, it was all that and a bag of chips. I was expecting Jawbone not to work like advertised, I mean how many times have you bought something and it actually worked exactly the way it was intended? Jawbone did everything it said it would. I was very surprised to find that the video example on Jawbone’s site is actually how it is in real life. I put it the test by trying out their car example. I took a phone call in my truck with the windows rolled down and the music playing. Care to guess what happened? I asked the person on the line, “Can you hear any noise in the background?” They replied, “Um, kind of, I think?” Awesome!
